Every year South Ural State Medical University graduates specialists in medicine, pharmacology, and psychology.
The university has over four thousand students, more than half of whom study at the expense of the state budget. Every year about one third of the applicants are enrolled according to the target programs.
“Clinical Psychology” is the most popular field among future young specialists. Less popular (but no less important) are “Pharmacy” and “Psychological Sciences” . After them – “Health Sciences and Preventive Medicine” (the direction has become much more prestigious in 2020). “Sociology and social work” is rarely chosen and there are few students studying in this area, but it promises to become popular, given the experience of 2020 and the shortage of specialists with education in this area.
9 out of 10 SUSMU students find a job, mainly in Chelyabinsk region, whose staff of medical and preventive complexes consists almost entirely of our university graduates. Of course, in other regions of the Russian Federation, and even abroad, SUSMU graduates are also in high demand.
