One of the best universities that train specialists in biotechnology, computer technology, instrumentation, and telecommunications is the Russian Technological University (MIREA). It combines the classical traditions of Russian education with the latest educational technologies. Thanks to this, its graduates are highly qualified specialists.
RTU was created as a result of the merger of three higher educational institutions: MTU (Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education “Moscow Technological University”) , MSUFChT (Lomonosov Moscow State University of Fine Chemical Technologies) and MIREA. At present the university is the largest modern university that successfully uses traditional and innovative teaching methods.
The educational programs are based on the international standards. RTU has eight institutes with 19,500 students. The university has 82 bachelor’s and 64 master’s degree programs. Every year 3,500 applicants are admitted to the budget. There are 8,000 seats available in the fee-paying department.
